Message :for outdoors is what a lot of folks would consider a crummy day - overcast with a diffuse blanket of clouds that don't leave any shadows. To your eye the day will look gloomy. But to the camera, you will get maximum color saturation.

On overcast days, the sky will be much brighter than the deep blue that you'd get on a sunny day. Due to that, the sky will be blown out in the pictures and all the subjects will look darker than the sky instead of being highlighted by the sun. The color saturation will be lower since the subject will be washed out by the overly bright sky.

This is the reason that some of the best pictures are taken in the morning, since the sky isn't as bright but there's still enough light shining on the subjects to make them look good.

If you look at anyone's pictures, the colors look dull and gloomy on overcast days.
